"Stop what you are doing and come get some of this food. Had the Large Jerk Chicken Platter and some extra sides. Everything was great. The best Island food I've had in years. The standout was the greens. I don't know how you made them taste that good but keep doing it. Really these collards are as good as any I've ever had, and I always get the greens. Perfectly cooked and spiced moist jerk chicken, great mac and cheese, good peas and rice, tasty cabbage, and really nice plantains. Fair price, large portions. Give yourself the night off and pick up dinner from Rickeys. You won't be disappointed. This is a follow up: I've eaten here more than two dozen times, and really it just gets better every time. Tried most everything now and it's all good! I can't imagine how that works since it started so great, but honestly every mouthful is amazing. I get a large platter and it feeds 2 of us with leftovers. One review I saw said it was pricey? Where are you eating otherwise? Cause if there's somewhere better and cheaper I want to know about it. Lots of competition for Jamaican Food on Germantown Ave, but I've eaten at lots of Caribbean spots from West, to South, to Uptown and beyond. This is my best, hands down. No hate for anyplace else, just great food at Rickey's. Wish I could give them 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐more."

"Rickey over there doin his thang. The curry chicken was delicious. Huge flavorful morsels of tender seasoned chicken with just the right amount of spice. The cabbage was steamed to perfection. And cant forget the plantains that were sweet and chewy just how i like them. I love this place please don't ever stop what yall doin over there."

"We had an Oxtail platter with Mac and Cheese, collards and sweet potatoes as well as a Curry Chicken platter with Rice and Peas, cabbage and sweet potatoes. ALL OF THESE WERE AMAZING!!! We also grabbed a side of potato salad which was not as good, but will definitely be back for more of everything else."

"Give this place a try! Some of the most flavorful carribbean food in the city with reasonable prices and ample portions. I've had curry goat a few times and each time was just as good as the others. Today I had jerk chicken with cabbage, rice, and peas- absolutely delicious. I had the spicy jerk sauce and it was the best I've had so far."
